Day of Infamy, Season of Grace
Led by Rebecca Janney in Fellowship Hall
December 7, 1941 was “the day that will live in infamy.” Imperial Japan meant the attack against America on Pearl Harbor for evil, but we'll take a closer look at how God used even that horrific event for good.
Providing Affordable Christian Literature
in Hard Places Around the World
Led by Mark and Linda Ridenour
Mark and Linda, who joined OEPC this summer, will share stories of how CLC provides affordable Christian books and Bibles to people overseas who wouldn’t otherwise have access to them. Photos from around the world will give glimpses of places where CLC serves, often as the nation’s only source of Christian literature.
A Session of Testimonies and Carols
Led by Alan Griffith in Fellowship Hall
accompanied by Kathy Farrell
All Adult Ed Classes will meet in Fellowship Hall for a program of testimony and the singing of our favorite Christmas carols. This traditional gathering has always been a favorite at OEPC and provides an uplifting experience during the Christmas season. Personal testimonies will be shared and persons from the floor will be invited to speak as they are so led. Join us on this pre-Christmas Sunday as we celebrate the birth of Christ and His witness in the lives of His people.
Bible Fellowship Group
Led by Nick and Marilyn Furcola in Room 107
(Meets every week except December 21)
This is an open forum type discussion group covering a wide variety of topics from the Bible as a whole. Come with questions or items for discussion or simply interact with the topics and scripture presented. It will be possible to make up the class as we go along. The only material which will be used will be God’s Word, the Bible, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Adult Ed classes on December 28 except for the Bible Fellowship Group.
