CHRISTIAN CARE & SERVICE MINISTRY TEAM

Mission Objective: To spread the Gospel and God's love among the membership and through involvment in the local community.

TLC Members are church members for which we want to provide special care (e.g. ill, shut-in, bereaved). The Christian Care and Service Ministry Team works closely with the Shepherding Ministry Team to support and encourage members.
Service Opportunity: notify the ministry team when a member is in need of special care, visit with members whom you have noticed missing from church worship services

Through the Card Caring Ministry greeting cards and a list of suggested card recipients are posted (in baskets) outside the church sanctuary entrances so that members can choose a card and send to any one or more member(s).
Service Opportunity: Pick up a greeting card and send it out to brighten another church member's day.

The Christian Care & Service Ministry team oversees church decorating and undecorating for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. They also distribute flowers/fruit baskets to TLC members at these times.

The Christian Care & Service Ministry team oversees the altar flowers. After the worship service, these flowers are delivered by Deacons to members of the church that are on the prayer list or on the TLC Member list.
Service Opportunity: Contact Esther Grier if you are interested in making a donation towards these flowers. Contact a team member if you know of a member who would especially enjoy receiving these flowers.

The Church Bus provides transportation to worship services for members and non-members who live at Gwynedd Estates, Spring House Estates and Fort Washington Estates and do not have other means of transportation.
