| WORLD OUTREACH MINISTRY TEAM
Mission Objective: The mission of the World Outreach Team at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church is to support the Church's efforts to spread the Word throughout the world, according to the Great Commission.
Guiding Principles:
- The Committee will obtain initial and periodic testimony from the supported missionaries regarding their Statement of Faith and their efforts in the mission field. At all times, the team will work to ensure that all missions which are supported by OEPC are founded on the belief that Scripture is the inspired word of God and that salvation comes from Christ alone.
- The testimonies from the supported missionaries will be used as a guide to determine whether support is appropriate in keeping with the team"s or OEPC's mission and what level of support should be allocated.
- OEPC's outreach can include active participation as well as financial support.
- The team will monitor the efforts and needs of every supported mission to ensure that their work in the field continues to coincide with the mission and purpose of OEPC.
- The team will inform and update the OEPC congregation regarding efforts and needs within each mission field and will monitor alloted funds to ensure adequate and equitable disbursement.
