Soup For the Soul

Join OEPC next month as we begin our 2018 Soup for the Soul Lenten Series "Reading Scripture Missionally".

The Bible, it's old, it's big, we read it, we say we believe it, but do we know how to read it well? The Bible is a story written by humans inspired to tell God's story. But what is God's story? Are there themes that run through all of Scripture? Where do we fit into God's story? Over these six weeks we will unpack the following statement: "God is relentlessly reclaiming the world for himself and has created his church to join with God in reclaiming his world." Reading the Bible missionally will give you a whole new vision of God, his Word, his purposes for the world, Jesus' life, death and resurrection, the church
and will revolutionize every area of your life. Come on out!

We will begin Lenten Season with communion worship and a light soup supper on Ash Wednesday, February 14 at 6:30pm in Fellowship Hall, and continue every Wednesday through March 21. Childcare is provided during the study time. We hope to see you there!
