FOOD CUPBOARD
Ongoing (1st Sunday of each month)
The Discipleship Ministry Team collects food items on the first Sunday of each month for the Glenside New Life Presbyterian Church food cupboard. Please put your donations on the table in the Paper Mill Rd Narthex. Canned meats (tuna, ham, chicken, etc.), baby food/formula, peanut butter, canned fruit and boxed goods (crackers, soup, pasta, cereal, rice, etc.) are especially appreciated. Also appreciated are paper grocery bags.
OEPC also prepares and serves some of the meals provided on Tuesday nights at the Glenside New Life church. We need people to prepare a main dish (recipe is provided), and people to warm and serve the food. The time commitment for servers is approximately 5:45PM-7:30PM (set-up and clean-up time included). Our list of servants for this ministry is growing; new team members are always welcomed.
Please contact Janice Kulp if you are interested in taking part in this ministry.
