Worship Service Information

We believe that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever; therefore, we gather to glorify God through Bible-based preaching and celebration through our music ministry.

Services of worship are held each Sunday morning from September thru mid-June at 8:30 and 11:00 with Christian Education for all ages at 9:45. The first Sunday services in the months of January, March, May and November are "Bridge the Gap" Sundays, with Christian Education at 8:45 and worship at 10:00, followed by a "bring a dish" luncheon at 11:30.

Beginning Sunday, February 21, an evening service (Vespers) will be held at 6:30PM. Vespers services will be conducted on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings of each month. The purpose of this additional worship opportunity on the Lord's Day is to provide an outreach opportunity to persons in the church and community who may be reached for Christ by an additional and/or alternative time and form of worship. Music and singing will be led by George Major, III, and the worship band Ebenezer. Pastor Jim Farell and Tim Ricci (OEPC's Youth Ministry Director) will share in the preaching.

OEPC has installed an assisted listening system which is available at the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services. An usher will give assistance if needed. If you have any questions or concerns about the system, please contact the church office.

CDs of worship services are available. Copies are available immediately
following the worship services. If the supply is gone, use the sign-up sheet in the Narthex and one will be made for you by the following Sunday. A donation of $2 per CD is requested. We provide quality Biblically-based Christian education for children and adults during our dedicated Sunday School hour at 9:45. (Including throughout the summer at 9:00.) A variety of topics are available in the Adult Ed. program.

Junior Church is available for children 4 years old through kindergarten during the 8:30 service (Sept - June). Nursery care for infants, and Toddler Playtime for 2 and 3 year olds meets during the 8:30 and 11 AM services (summer 10:00).

Church Prayer service is held each Wednesday from 7-8 PM in the church library.

Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism are observed throughout the year. Services of healing are held in conjunction with the Communion services on the
first Sunday of every month. For specific times, please call the church office
